Handfasting....Marying the love of your live as it supose to be !!

To maary the person you want to be for the rest of your live on the ancient way as they do for more then two centuries!

In the older days they god married to have kids and creating bonds between famillies, to secure the land and wealth, there was no church, you had only familly and later on the church came becuase the king wanted to now, and interfere if it was not inconfiniant for his kingdom.

Later on they did it for love, and we still do it for love, but the ceremony was still there till 1800

Because the king wanted more influene on it, the hurch got more power and also wanted money of it the handfasting ritual become forbidden. A lot of rituals that were used in handfasting the churh also used. To be honest, church took over for the controling of the people.

In this time, handfasting is not official, you also need to go to the town counsil to get the wedding liscence, in the netherlands and in france.

Were so happy to see that more ad more people marry treu handfasting, because its a spiritual commitment, and that is a lot stronger then only the piece of paper at the ounsil hall.

So, do you really whant the commitment, the deeper level, marry at the Handfasting way!
